In 2021, Lithuania's children (aged less than 18) at risk of poverty or social exclusion decreased by 6.5% compared to 2020, reaching 64.8.

Lithuania accounts for 88.2% of the EU-27 total of 73.5.

Lithuania ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 34.9% (from 99.6 in 2016).
