Children aged less than 3 years in formal childcare

In 2010, Lithuania's children aged less than 3 years in formal childcare increased by 26.4% compared to 2009, reaching 13.9.

Lithuania accounts for 48.8% of the EU-27 total of 28.5.

Lithuania ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.2% (from 11.1 in 2005).
