Inequality of income distribution

In 2024, Lithuania's inequality of income distribution increased by 3.5% compared to 2023, reaching 13.1.

Lithuania accounts for 140.3% of the EU-27 total of 9.32.

Lithuania ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 12.9 in 2019).
