Housing cost overburden rate by income quintile - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Lithuania's housing cost overburden rate by income quintile increased by 5.7% compared to 2020, reaching 12.9.

Lithuania accounts for 41.6% of the EU-27 total of 31.0.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 59.3% (from 31.7 in 2016).
