In 2024, Lithuania's housing cost overburden rate by degree of urbanisation decreased by 16.0% compared to 2023, reaching 4.20.

Lithuania accounts for 42.9% of the EU-27 total of 9.80.

Lithuania ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.4% (from 4.10 in 2019).
