In 2024, Lithuania's median of the housing cost burden distribution by age group increased by 1.8% compared to 2023, reaching 11.2.

Lithuania accounts for 80.6% of the EU-27 total of 13.9.

Lithuania ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 10.3 in 2019).
