In 2025, Lithuania's median of the housing cost burden distribution by poverty status decreased by 5.4% compared to 2024, reaching 10.6.

Lithuania accounts for 77.4% of the EU-27 total of 13.7.

Lithuania ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.5% (from 9.10 in 2020).
