In 2019, Lithuania's median of the housing cost burden distribution by degree of urbanisation decreased by 4.1% compared to 2018, reaching 9.40.

Lithuania accounts for 58.0% of the EU-27 total of 16.2.

Lithuania ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 40.1% (from 15.7 in 2014).
