Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2021, Luxembourg's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 3.9% compared to 2020, reaching 71.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 69.8%.

Luxembourg ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.8% (from 73.9% in 2016).
