In 2021, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate of elderly people by tenure status increased by 24.7% compared to 2020, reaching 9.10.

Luxembourg accounts for 54.5% of the EU-27 total of 16.7.

Luxembourg ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 8.70 in 2016).
