In 2025, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate of elderly people by tenure status decreased by 26.6% compared to 2024, reaching 6.90.

Luxembourg accounts for 42.6% of the EU-27 total of 16.2.

Luxembourg ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.5% (from 7.30 in 2020).
