Housing cost overburden rate by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2025, Luxembourg's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status increased by 1.2% compared to 2024, reaching 8.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 7.7%.

Luxembourg ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.7% (from 8.5% in 2020).
