Inability to keep home adequately warm

In 2021, Malta's inability to keep home adequately warm increased by 8.3% compared to 2020, reaching 7.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.9%.

Malta ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.2% (from 6.6% in 2016).
