In 2022, Malta's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households with at least one dependent child by work intensity increased by 0.3% compared to 2021, reaching 76.6.

Malta accounts for 111.3% of the EU-27 total of 68.8.

Malta ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.8% (from 85.9 in 2017).
