At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2021, reaching 14.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Netherlands ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.8% (from 13.2% in 2017).
