Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2018, Netherlands's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 0.7% compared to 2017, reaching 68.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 69.9%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.7% (from 67.1% in 2013).
