At-risk-of-poverty rate by age group - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by age group decreased by 6.9% compared to 2023, reaching 12.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Netherlands ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.3% (from 13.2% in 2019).
