In 2025, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate of elderly people by tenure status increased by 22.6% compared to 2024, reaching 15.2.

Netherlands accounts for 93.8% of the EU-27 total of 16.2.

Netherlands ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 31.0% (from 11.6 in 2020).
