At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.2% compared to 2012, reaching 17.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Poland ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.4% (from 16.9% in 2008).
