In 2014, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 20.5% compared to 2013, reaching 168,567.

Poland ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.0% (from 208,194 in 2009).
