In 2016, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.6% compared to 2015, reaching 79,928.

Poland ranks 7th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.1% (from 135,611 in 2011).
