In 2017, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.3% compared to 2016, reaching 67,712.

Poland ranks 8th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 47.1% (from 127,961 in 2012).
