In 2025, Portugal's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households with at least one dependent child by work intensity increased by 2.1% compared to 2024, reaching 74.4.

Portugal accounts for 103.0% of the EU-27 total of 72.2.

Portugal ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.2% (from 67.5 in 2020).
