In 2021, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity decreased by 1.8% compared to 2020, reaching 70.9.

Romania accounts for 131.1% of the EU-27 total of 54.1.

Romania ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.6% (from 65.9 in 2016).
