In 2025, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity decreased by 9.1% compared to 2024, reaching 55.9.

Romania accounts for 92.9% of the EU-27 total of 60.2.

Romania ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.6% (from 72.2 in 2020).
