Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 1997, Romania's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments decreased by 10.2% compared to 1996, reaching 19,612,000.

Romania ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.8% (from 26,076,000 in 1992).
