At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.3% compared to 2013, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 42.6% (from 10.8% in 2009).
