In 2012, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.1% compared to 2011, reaching 13.2%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.
Slovakia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.3% (from 9.9% in 2007).
