In 2021, Slovakia's motor coaches, buses and trolley buses, by type of motor energy increased by 2.5% compared to 2020, reaching 8,370.

Slovakia accounts for 1.2% of the EU-27 total of 713,377.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.9% (from 9,091 in 2016).
