In 2022, Slovakia's motor coaches, buses and trolley buses, by type of motor energy increased by 3.8% compared to 2021, reaching 8,685.

Slovakia accounts for 1.2% of the EU-27 total of 723,500.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.0% (from 9,241 in 2017).
