Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 2.1% compared to 2006, reaching 53.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 57.0%.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 51.2% in 2002).
