In 2014, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 7.7% compared to 2013, reaching 72.

Slovakia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.3% (from 84 in 2009).
