In 2021, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 12.7% compared to 2020, reaching 55.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.3% (from 60 in 2016).
