In 2022, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 23.6% compared to 2021, reaching 42.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 47.5% (from 80 in 2017).
