In 2023, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 47.6% compared to 2022, reaching 62.

Slovakia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.5% (from 67 in 2018).
