In 2024, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group decreased by 4.0% compared to 2023, reaching 9.60.

Slovakia accounts for 58.5% of the EU-27 total of 16.4.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.7% (from 9.00 in 2019).
