At-risk-of-poverty rate by sex

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by sex increased by 9.1% compared to 2009, reaching 36.0.

Slovakia accounts for 72.7% of the EU-27 total of 49.5.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.8% (from 39.9 in 2005).
