At-risk-of-poverty rate by sex

In 2021, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by sex increased by 7.9% compared to 2020, reaching 36.9.

Slovakia accounts for 73.2% of the EU-27 total of 50.4.

Slovakia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.1% (from 38.1 in 2016).
