In 2024, Slovakia's at-risk-of poverty rate by household type decreased by 14.5% compared to 2023, reaching 23.5.

Slovakia accounts for 91.4% of the EU-27 total of 25.7.

Slovakia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 21.1 in 2019).
