In 2021, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity decreased by 14.4% compared to 2020, reaching 48.7.

Slovakia accounts for 90.0% of the EU-27 total of 54.1.

Slovakia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.8% (from 55.2 in 2016).
