At-risk-of-poverty rate before social transfers by sex - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate before social transfers by sex increased by 13.7% compared to 2020, reaching 21.6.

Slovakia accounts for 81.2% of the EU-27 total of 26.6.

Slovakia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.4% (from 18.4 in 2016).
