In 2023, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 4.1% compared to 2022, reaching 3,667.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.0% (from 4,528 in 2018).
