In 2012, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2011, reaching 13.5%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.9%.
Slovenia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.4% (from 11.5% in 2007).
