In 2024, Slovenia's net occupancy rate of bed-places and bedrooms in hotels and similar accommodation (NACE rev. 2, i, 55.1) (from 2012 onwards) increased by 2.8% compared to 2023, reaching 43.6.

Slovenia accounts for 88.4% of the EU-27 total of 49.4.

Slovenia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.8% (from 44.0 in 2019).
