At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2009, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.2% compared to 2008, reaching 29.0%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.6% (from 25.3% in 2004).
