At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.0% compared to 2009, reaching 29.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.7% (from 26.0% in 2005).
