At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.3% compared to 2005, reaching 21.8%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.0% (from 20.0% in 2001).
