At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2002, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.9% compared to 2001, reaching 18.0%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 10 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.0% (from 20.0% in 1997).
