In 2023, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 22.1% compared to 2022, reaching 11,356.

Sweden ranks 6th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 28.7% (from 8,827 in 2018).
