Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Sweden's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.6% compared to 2006, reaching 71.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 57.0%.

Sweden ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.0% (from 72.5% in 2002).
